Mr. Vakili earned his Juris Doctor degree from Thomas M. Cooley Law School in Michigan. He was an honour roll student and made Dean’s list after his first term. His passion for civil liberties was the motivating force for his pursuit of justice. During law school, Mr. Vakili was a staff writer for his school newspaper and received wide recognition from his peers as someone who likes to challenge authority.

From the outset, Mr. Vakili’s practice has been devoted to criminal law. After articling for a very busy and reputable criminal defence firm in Toronto, he was offered an associate position with the same firm before he started his own successful practice. Mr. Vakili’s vision in setting up his practice was to deliver outstanding results, while maintaining client confidence.
